dad has just been diagnosed with stomach cancer - very early stages in the whole process not much into yet - feeling down as lost mum to lung cancer. really need some help and confort . from glasgow
I can't be of much help but I'm really sorry to hear about your mum & dad. I pray and hope your dad recovers well and easily from this awful disease. For now, enjoy every moment you can with him as I'm sure he needs you so much now too
Im so sorry to hear about your dad and the loss of your mom. I have lost both my parents in less than two years. The pain is unbearable and I grieve for them everyday. Sometimes I wake up and it's so difficult to even get out of bed. What I've tried to do since their loss is keep busy. I do voluntary work at the hospice where mom passed away and I also raise money for the hospice. I've had couselling several times and sometimes I write my feelings down. Allow yourself to grieve cry when you need to don't bottle things up. Just be there for your dad and support him that's what I did with mom. I hope this is of some use to you. X
