Saying hi

First post here. Hello.

I'll get right into it:

I am lost. Why is this happening? And a thousand more questions.

Just found out my husband has stage 4 prostate cancer.

It helps to post this and know I'm not alone with how devastating this news is for him and I. He is having another MRI tomorrow to see if it has spread.

Anyone with a similar situation out there, how do you cope?

Thanks,

J

  • Hi Dirtydog .

    Love the name.

There's a few prostate cancer survivors on here, when I say a few it doesn't mean alot have died most have gone back to living life alot wiser, and a new normal.

I'm a survivor, stage 4 , PSA 1581 prostate gone to lymph nodes, spine, ribs, pelvis and a lung ,I was diagnosed Feb 2016 .

Some others are [@telemando]‍ ,and [@woodworm]‍  we've been on here a few years now helping others and trying to give what help we can . mainly its keeping positive .and just take things as they come and not think of the what its and when's

Take care of yourself as well.

    Best wishes.

    Billy

  • Thank you Billy, you are a warrior! We've just been to the radiologist yesterday and she said 70 to 80 percent survival what does that mean? Worst thing is we're  not in UK and DH speaks the language I don't. I am very scared and I don't feel good about this. Thanks again for your support.

    Best wishes for you, DD
