Hi everyone, I'm new here, (currently waiting on some results and a secondary referral). 

I'm 37 (38 in a few weeks) I've had on-going gynae problems on and off for many years, due to family history (mum had cervical cancer at 19, nan had womb cancer in her 50's - eventually came back elsewhere and took her away from us 2yrs ago tomorrow [28th] ) I always had smears yearly but due to living / moving between England and Ireland the last few yrs I haven't had one for 3.5yrs.

The last couple of months I've been bleeding almost constantly (both fresh and old blood, regularly experiencing pain) and have now had a priority smear done this last Friday, the nurse also said she's requesting my doctor refer me to a gynaecologist for further testing / examination. 

I'm probably just a bit paranoid (having lost 9 family members to cancer in the last 14yrs) but it is truly scary biscuits. 

Anyway just wanted to give you my run down, and say hi, prayers go out to everyone currently living with / fighting, and their supporting family and friends xXx
