Query

So with everything going on with Covid I don't want to waste the doctors time but for about two/three weeks I've had pain in my rectum and it hurts all the time and not just when using the bathroom. I've checked and can feel a lump that bleeds when I hit it, the pain wakes me up and when I go check there is sometimes blood on my underwear. I always bleed when I pass a stool to the point where the water is red... is this something I need to go to a doctor about or am I just worrying for nothing?

  • Hi bethany

There's a good chance you have hemeroids (piles) it's like a blood blister you can have more than one they burst hence blood and filly up again.

But check with Dr or 111 so your 100 %sure remember we're not medicaly trained just going on what we have wrong with us.

    Best wishes
