My journey with Bowel cancer

Hi am Called Vicky I am 46 and got diagnosed with stsgev4 bowel cancer in 2016 the cancer had spread to my liver and lungs but after 6 major surgery's and a lot of chemo my scan last month shows no sign of cancer i kept positive and after a lot of work with my doctors and rest of my health care and family I got to this point I never thought I would

  • Hi I had 3 liver operations bu open surgery because the cancer returned 3 times I had aggressive form of chemo and target therapy I don't tolerated the chemo very well so I had it stopped and Doctors scanned me and cancer was stable I don't really take supplements a only had build up drinks Iv had two other surgery's on both lungs now and it's took a bit of time but I got here u will to u just have to keep positive and listen to your body I hope this helps

  • I really do hope u never give up just keep fighting I never thought I would make it but I'm still here and Iv had it 6 times just keep going and carry on never gone up hope

  • Thank you so much for replying,  I've been told surgery isn't an option either on my lung and liver, they say it's too  big an operation and the cancer nodules  in the liver are too spread out.  I just don't know what to do..  I know the primary cancer site has a lot to do with how they treat the secondary liver cancer, apparently womb cancer isn't as easy to remove from the liver, because it's hormone based

(if anyone knows something different please let me know ) .

im trying to research things but I will admit I'm not very good on the science side of it, but I will try and keep positive and have a bit of hope in my heart

  • You could ask your oncologist about cyber knife or liver ablation for the noduals just ask and see if their is any other options keep pushing i really hope u get the help I am thinking of u good luck
