I'm not sure what all these numbers refer to but was told that above 5 for my age was a concern. Are we talking about the same scales here?

Mine was 1581 and there's others over 3000.

It depends if its contained or not which means scans at some time and biopsy. 

Sometimes psa increases because of infection so checks have to be done or another test after a certain time to make sure.

Hi mini, i like it hope fully they'll get something sorted soon about weather to leave it, (it's called watch and wait) and check now and again. Or give you a choice of rip it out or radiotherapy and hormone therapy.... Very exciting isn't it.?? With mine it'd gone to lymph nodes, spine, ribs, pelvis and a lung so they decided to let me live with my uninvited guest. Was diagnosed Feb 2016, was working in a factory till Christmas before had to retire to look after my disabled wife she needs 24 /7 care. I'm her official carer. Good luck what ever they decide..
