Hi, I've been diagnosed with throat cancer I start my radiotherapy and chemotherapy on the 10th of Feb for 7weeks I would appreciate any advice on whats ahead of me please.

Welcome to the club no one wants to join but you'll find that were a friendly bunch. So sorry to hear of your diagnosis but theres plenty of us here to offer support to you along the way. My hubby was diagnosed with stage 3 tonsil cancer in Dec 2015 and after 5 cycles of Cistplatin chemo and 30 fractions of VMAT radiotherapy plus a neck dissection he has been in remission and cancer free for 3 1/2 years. I cant sugar coat it - the treatment is really really gruelling but worth it for a good outcome and we're here to help along the way with tips and hints to get you through.
