Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about the difficulties you've been experiencing recently.

Waiting for results is never easy and the uncertainty can be difficult. It sounds as if they're doing a number of tests to make sure they have all the information and hopefully it won't be longer until you can find out more.

Some people say it helps to keep busy while waiting for results, to try to keep your mind off things. I know it can be easier said than done.

If anyone here has similar experience then hopefully they'll be along soon.

I have a barium swallow on thursday but i am very nervous just hope I don't have to wait too long for final results of this and the biopsies from the gastroscopy.

Hi, I'm just wondering if you had the barium swallow and how did it go? Did you have to wait long for results?

I still havent recieved my biopsy results but have the result from the barium swallow back but Its been suggested I have a ct scan for more investigation. I have an appointment this friday with a specialist for something else but my gp told me to bring the printed result to that appointment so hopefully il get some more answers then and they can explain it all to me in a bit more depth.

Will update once I know more.
