Hi,

I had a very sore boob that didn't respond to flucoxicillin so I ended up in hospital for IV antibiotics. The ultrasound showed a small 1cm abscess but there feels like a big thickened area behind my nipple. It has since burst and lots of pus and blood has come out (is blood normal?). 
 

I am being referred for a mammogram and made the mistake of googling so now terrified. I seem to have most of the symptoms suddenly. Can it come on that quickly? I'm terrified but can't talk to anyone about it as we have just lost my mum to lung cancer. Everyone has been through enough!
