Hi Juju2,
Welcome to the forum although I'm sorry that you find yourself needing to be here.
It's understandable that you're feeling shocked. I think lots of our ladies here who've had a breast cancer diagnosis will be able to empathise with that.
Tubular breast cancer is one of the less common types however I've had a look through the forum and I can see that [@Cornishpastie] has previously had the same diagnosis. We have a great community of breast cancer ladies here and I know that [@Jolamine] [@Marlyn] and [@Chriss] would happily share their experiences and words of advice with you.
There's some information on the Breast Cancer Care website that I've linked for you here that may be of help but please do give our team of nurses a call if you'd like to talk anything through. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.
Sending best wishes,
Jenn

Hello love, just picked this up thanks to our moderator jenn,
Out of interest what treatment did you have 2 years ago?
What surgery you scheduled in for? Isn't it a whirlwind! I felt like a rabbit caught in headlights when the consultant was telling me I had breast cancer, I could see her lips moving but I couldn't take any of it in! Then I was ushered off to see the nurse who piled me high with booklets and reams of paper to read....what a daze! But I'm happy to say it all settled down once a plan was in place.....I've now had surgery, chemo, rads, 3 weekly injections hormone inhibitors and biphosphonates.....and I defo see myself as coming out the other side now...
here if you need to chat love, your certainly not on your own x

Hi Juju,
I am so sorry to hear about this new diagnosis. I have had two bouts of breast cancer one year after the other, so I have some idea of just how devastated you must feel. Have you been given the grade of your cancer and discussed any treatment options for after surgery?
These two weeks will feel like forever, as you wait for your surgery. Try to keep yourself busy to distract yourself from the wait. You will find your emotions all over the place at the moment, as there are so many unknowns until you get your surgery out of the way. Are you going to have a lumpectomy or a mastectomy and, do you have any plans to remove some lymph nodes?
Please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
