Just saying Hello back to you Janek57, not being able to sleep is par for the course i think.

I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis and of the fact that treatment is limited. I was diagnosed with the same last week and i thought that my treatment options would be limited too but thankfully for me, it is going to go down the route that i didn't think would be possible.

It is very weird that we get a certain sense of calmness after hearing that and like you i felt calm too.  i think it is after all the weeks of stress and worry, the not knowing and wondering about the what if's then suddenly we do know and it  feels like a weight has been lifted.

May i ask what your treatment options or option are ? It sounds as though they have something in the pipeline for you regarding treatment so that alone is a positive. Anything that can stave off this disease or help in any way has got to be a good sign surely. What's the altenative, lie down to it, no siree i certainly won't, if this B wants a fight then it sure as heck will get one from me. It doesn't know who it's messing with.

I hope you managed to get back to sleep but if you're still lying in that bed then i think you should get up. Too much sleep is not good for you,says she because she is  just jealous of all those who can sleep better than her, lol. :p
