I am new to the forum. I am waiting to go into hospital today for TURBT to remove a large bladder tumour. I am not anxious about the procedure, but find waiting for results and appointments difficult.
Hi talkeetna. I also am awaiting a TURBT operation, which is due early next month. Like you I find the wait for results so difficult.
Given that NHS is rolling out a linked computer network, you may find that your GP has access to some results even before you hear from the hospital. For instance, just today I was able to get a copy of my CT scan result, even though I've heard nothing about it from the hospital!
