You did the right thing six weeks ago I was diagnosed with grade 2 BC two tumours in my right boob this from a slight dent ,a week ago I had surgery and reconstruction on both sides I now await my full results for the next step in my treatment .

Can I ask how slight was your dent ? 

Theres no lump on my breast that I can feel nor my gp she couldn’t feel one neither ,

it was only slightly noticeable to the right side of my right nipple but in the breast only when I lent over or lifted my arm , my gp or the nurse at the Breast clinic could feel any lumps but they were visible on the scans one was just over an inch and the other just over half an inch .

huge positive is that we are seen so quickly now days .

I am so sorry to hear about your breast troubles. My, you have quite some history of cancer in your family and, I am so sorry for all your losses. I too have a comprehensive family history of cancer and was first diagnosed with breast cancer 9 years ago. I had a second bout 8 years ago.

I am glad to hear that you have been given an appointment for Monday. You may not get any results then. It is more usual to have some tests done onyour first visit and to return for the results in 1-2 weeks.

Yes , certainly been a horrific time for our family since 2013, Roller coaster of sheer hell , I’m not sure just how we managed to get through it , the heartbreak is unbelievable that never leaves you , 

Im becoming a tag more nervous as times drawing closer to Monday , the clinic I’m going to is nearby & is a one stop clinic so says I should know results on same day , 

althoygh im aware with Biopsy’s that different, 

i just want to know now , I’m anxious about it I’m hoping no matter what the outcome that I actually know then as this waiting isn’t nice is it , 

I’m reading mixed stories of people with the same thing or similar so That’s not making me more anxious infact rrsdong other stories I feel is making me more aware , 

I feel like Monday can’t come quick enough & at the same time wishing it was a life time away , very bizarre feeling , 

how are you now ? After all your findings 8&9 yrs ago ? You’ve obviously been in similar situation to myself in both scenario’s ,

You're quite right unfortunately, the heartbreak never leaves you, but you learn how to live with it.

You really have nothing to worry about for Monday. The staff at the clinic are usually fantastic. You are fortunate that you are attending a one-stop shop, as this should give you an idea of whether there is anything untoward straight away. If the doctor is at all concerned s/he may also do a biopsy. You will usually have to wait 1-2 weeks for the results of this. The waiting is always a scary time, as all sorts of thoughts go through our heads.

You will read a lot of different stories from people who have the same types of cancer. We are all individuals and all react in our own way.

I am doing well now thank you. I had a scare earlier this year when I was referred to a plastic surgeon for an excision biopsy on my face. While I was there, he discovered another mole on my leg and carried out an excision biopsy on that too. Fortunately both were clear. The only trouble I've had is in trying to get my leg healed afterwards. I am still on antibiotics and applying creams 8 weeks after the procedure. Fortunately, it is my leg which gave trouble and not my face, which has healed well.

Hi Guys , I posted a few days ago about the slight Dent on my left breast , 

just wanted To let you know as I said I would keep you posted. I have had my Breast Clinic Appt earlier today @ my local hospital, The doctor I seen couldn’t feel anything , had Mammogram & was told the Ultrasound radiologist was not working today so I needed up going to the other nearest hospital for The Ultrasound, And thank god they told me there & then they couldn’t see anything on either the Mammogram or Ultrasound , I’m so relieved, I’m aware this isn’t the case for everyone that goes through the same thing , 

when I was with the doctor at he clinic he drew “X’s“ around an area on my breast and he had a smaller little handHeld Mini Ultrasound Doppler that he screened where he said he could feel a node ??! 

Aint got a clue why he did that it was tender there when’s he felt it , 

anyways , he rang Me earlier after the Ultrasound scan & told me that they didn’t see anything on the scans and Im so over The moon , I elated , 

But why am I feeling like something’s bother me ? I dotn know is what im feeling normal ? It’s like I’m feeling a doubt about it I don’t I know but I have  this niggling voice in my head asking Well what the hell are those dents on my breast then ? Why did they appear few months ago & are still there ? I did ask the doctor when he rang me but he just said he signed me off & just keep eye on it, said i could have had a bang ???? But I haven’t & todl him , 

he then said we’ll could be any reason really but nothing they could see on the scan right now so incase free to go , 

which im so so pleased about ,thank you all for her very kind replies and comments to me the past week or few days I’m so so greatful ,
