Hello Chels1964; welcome to the forum.  This is obviously worrying for you but of course you don't know the reason behind the change of appointments.  It may be that they have had a change of plan which might help your husband and they want to get it started if possible but again I don't know either.  I am just saying it may be for some reason you may not have considered.   I realise you will worry until you see the consultant but try not to panic yet - easier said than done I realise. It's a very hard road.  Annie

I’ve just been flitting though other posts, seems the waiting for results/appointments is part and parcel of any cancer treatment. It’s a nightmare. Hubby seems quite calm. I on the other hand am not sleeping without tablets and am just getting through my working day. Fingers crossed for us and everyone else waiting!! 

Do let us know the outcome - but only if you want to of course!  Yes, the waiting for results is awful for everyone and no matter how long or short the wait it is taken to mean something  negative!  Annie

thought I’d put an update. Saw consultant yesterday and everything good. Tumours have all shrunk and hubby will hopefully starts immunotherapy in two weeks. Consultant apologised for the misunderstanding about dates of meetings when I told him I hadn’t slept for a week.
