I do know a friend of mine who had reconstruction using her shoulder/ back....she said she wished she had been able to see actual photographs of how it all looks after...she was a bit shocked at how it all looked but perhaps that's to do more with her surgeon not preparing her well enough? 

Its a big dicision for you, do you have anyone you can offload on?
