Hi I am new to the forum as just found this on the internet.

my husband was diagnosed only in october this year and his cancer is rare and aggressive. I have experience of looking after vulnerable older persons and have supported with end of life on a number of occassions, but find it difficult now it is my husband.

At times I do not know where to turn when his pain is so bad that he sobs so thought I would join this forum so that I feel less alone

    I am also sorry to read about your husband’s diagnosis and how you are feeling. 

    Does your husband’s medical team have anything to say about his pain being so bad. Is he able to get any relief? 

    It is just incredibly difficult to watch someone you love going through cancer. 

    You are definitely no alone here. Sadly, there are a fair few others who are going through the same. I think it helps to be around people in the know about cancer and I am sure you will feel the same. There are some lovely, supportive people here.

    thank you for your welcome. He is on so much medication that we cannot increase anymore, thats why we need the medical team to agree with the consultant and him around the next process but hey ho have to wait and see.

    i am pleased that I have joined.
