Saying hello

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum so this is just to let you know who I am.

I am a 70 year old man who was diagnosed with bladder cancer June 18. The cancer was incidental, being found during investigations for another problem, as yet undiagnosed.

The tumour was removed in July 18 but I have joined this forum to ask some questions about on going problems, which I guess is best posted on another section of the forum.

I will say that the support I have had from at the hospital has been excellent, particularly from the McMillan nurses who are always on hand to advise on any concerns. However, it never hurts to get other opinions.

Regards to all.

    Hi Foxinthehouse,

Welcome to our forum, although I'm sorry for the reason that you have joined.

I am glad to hear that you have had good support from the hospital and, in particular, the Macmillan nurses. We really are very fortunate in the UK.

I shall have a look for your other post on the forum and see if I can help with any of your questions.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
