Hi

My partner of 35 years was diagnosed with cancer of the bile duct in June this year, it had spread into her liver and despite removing a great part of her liver they couldn’t get it all. I’ve joined this group because I am now caring for her 24/7 and sometimes I feel so alone and although we are getting the support we need from carers I thought joining this would be ok.

We lost our son in law to this insidious disease last year, he was the dad of our 5 year old granddaughter.

my email is martynpg73@aol.com

May I suggest that you remove your email address as this is an open forum and anyone could get hold of it.

    Hi Bessemer,

Welcome to our forum, although I'm sorry that you have had to join us here.

I am so sorry to hear about your partner and the spread of her cancer. It is an isolated task being a full-time carer, so you should find this site beneficial. I am glad to hear that you have carers coming in to help and support you. Have you had a prognosis for your parter and how are you both coping at present?

You seem to be having a particularly hard time. Losing your son-in-law to this disease is doubly tragic and I offer my sincere sympathy, albeit  belated.

Thinking of you and hoping that you will benefit from joining us here.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
