I'm waiting on my results too, nearly 2 weeks now. The doc told me it could take up to 6 weeks or more, way too long, mad. Any suggestions on how to relax ? Thanks
A very warm welcome to the forum. I am so sorry to hear that you are at this awful stage of waiting for results too. Is this also for dermatology? This tends to be one of the longer waiting times. Try to keep yourself occupied to take your mind off the wait. If you can concentrate on reading do this, listen to music, do a handiwork project or even do a jigsaw - this is good if you find it difficult to concentrate, as you can always go back to it. Practicing mindfullness is also helpful.
Whatever you do, steer clear of the internet, as you will only increase your anxiety. Please let us know how you get on and, remember that we are always here for you.
Did they give you any idea of how long it was likely to take to get your results when you had the biopsy? - It always pays to ask at the time. I hope that it doesn't take too long, as this is always an anxious time.
Were you told at the time of your biopsy how long it would take to get your results? It is always worth asking this at the time that it is being carried out. I sincerely hope that it comes through soon.
