Just joined this forum :) Diagnosed with breast cancer and was told today would need chemo, operation & radiotherapy. Trying to learn a bit more before I step into the unknown x
My hubby said you were probably treated to the galleon restaurant west end stores and in John olivers and woolies lol x I was born & raised in Truro but moved (not a massive move!) but 10 mins down the road to Redruth!
Everyone i meet speaks about kitchy!
My eldest son moved to London and we visited there frequently over the last 4 years but he's now moved to Denmark. I have a sister who lives in lancing near Brighton too :)
maybe if we ever get the chance to meet I promise to bring you some hogs pudding!

Next time you come past Bridgend drop in and i could meet you for coffee or a bit of lunch at the outlet centre. Im glad to say Welsh NHS has been brilliant x.
I work with lots of lovely social workers. I have looked after lots of ladies with breast cancer over the years and I think being a specialist breast care nurse would be a lovely job to do x
Lol kitchy was an institution in redruth. I was born in treliske hospital in truro. My dad and his family were from truro and my mum from blisland in bodmin. Brighton is a great place with a real vibe to it. Never been to denmark though.
I have my OP Friday. Am mentally and physically prepared. Finishing work Thursday. Work has kept me going as I get to focus on other people's problems....im a social worker.
Every mountain can be climbed hun....you just have to find the right path. The shock will pass. Take one step at a time in getting info at your pace. We will get through it x
I think you would have a really good first hand experience now of the emotional and physical impact. Due you think you will pursue that in your career warrior queen?
its a long trip to cardigan from Redruth in cornwall but soooo worth the trip especially when I can stop off at the outlet x my friend travelled up as well for a few days. Would love to meet up one day :) thank you for being so kind
Oh bless you.... chemo pre surgery. At present looks like I'm gonna dodge chemo. Fingers crossed nothing changes after I get my op results. You seem to be answering each of us ok lol.....when does chemo start?
