First time around here

Hello folks, I have joined and am posting here on behalf of my beautiful wife of 35 years just in case she or I want to use this forum.

Linda has breast cancer, about 2.5 cm across. we are currently traveling 200 miles each way tomorrow for her 2nd lot of chemo.

I did not realise that the physical bit is the easy bit, it's the mental and emotional bit upstairs that is so hard. We are both finding so many things difficult at the moment.

    Hi JW. Sorry to hear you and your wife are going through this. Your post shows the love you have for your wife and without a doubt I'm sure she appreciates your support. I've just been diagnosed and know I appreciate the care my partner is giving me. 

    I'm sure people who are in your position caring and supporting us ladies will be along shortly to share their stories and offer you support. 

    I just thought I would stop by and say hi until they do and to tell you that there are some amazing people on here either diagnosed with cancer or the relative of a person living with it. And I'm sure everyone will tell you to take care of you too. Good luck to your wife and you too as you gin on this unwanted journey together x
