welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear the news about your husband

the testing part of this process is one of the worst things .... its the not knowing, coupled with the absolute desire to want to know, to then be able to figure out what you are dealing with

a lot of us on this site have been there

first and foremost though, I am now 2.5 years post treatment for throat cancer and there are many of us on here, each of us have our own tale to tell.

my advice for now is to stay off of the internet, everything you need to know can be sourced from the moderators and people like myself, so ask what you want when you want, no question is to minor or silly to answer

coupled with this distraction is the only way to escape what you are both going through for now, go for a walk (great weather today), go see a happy play or something of that ilk....but try and make yourself do something....it does help however tiring it may appear to do it

keep us up to date with things and let us know when your next appointment is

throat cancer is rare so it could be a one of a multitude of things that lead you away from this site
