Good morning xx I've just joined the forum after a restless night.

i was diagnosed on 24th November 2016 with stage 1B1 cervical cancer; following an abnormal smear test last summer and subsequent biopsy and LLETZ procedure.

On 9th January 2017 I had surgery to remove my cervix and upper section of my vagina (trachelectomy) and pelvic lymph nodes. On 26th January I was given the news that the operation had succesfully removed all of the cancer localised to my cervix and there was no spread to my lymph nodes, no further treatment is needed and I was given the all clear. 

Amazing news...it's been a complete rollercoaster over the last couple of months. I seem to be recovering well physically. emotionally I'm still feeling quite up and down; I'm obviously relieved, but feel quite overwhelmed at times and I'm trying to get back to "normal" xxx
