I'm married to my lovely husband, Eugene, and we have a wonderful little tornado called Maisie.
I'm a public health nurse.
Following an abnormal smear test taken in the summer of 2016 and followed by a biopsy and a LLETZ procedure I was diagnosed with stage 1B1 cervical cancer. On 9th January 2017 I had surgery to remove my cervix (trachelectomy) and pelvic lymph nodes. On 26th January 2017 I was told the operation had been a success, no spread was found and I was given the all clear.
