Introducing myself.

Hello, I am Jennifer. My husband Michael was diagnosed with Melanoma metastases in March 2016. Both tumours have been removed the first in March and the second two weeks ago, now we are awaiting Radiotherapy for a second time. Like you we get on with our treatment and try not to become overwhelmed.

  • its hard but great and this is the way forward if you can do this - we are trying to do this and so far its helping - take care xx

  • Hi, thankyou for replying. I truely can't believe this is happening to us. We were a ' normal family' ( whaterever that is) 7 /12 ago. I have looked on the forum to see if there is anyone else unfortunate enough to have or had Melanoma that ended up in their brain and there doesn't appear to be, not that I wish it on anyone. Hope you are managing and staying strong.

  • I was recently diagnosed with melanoma (on my back) which had metastasised to my lymph nodes (both underarms). Just had them removed 14 days ago (drains were removed today...)

I totally understand what you mean about being "normal" and how hard it is to come to terms with it happening to you. I feel the same right now.

Best of luck with your treatment and we're all here when you need a chat xx
