Newly diagnosed with terminal cancer

Hi I'm Clare, I am a 41yr old mum to a little girl & am married. I had a rare liver cancer (not a drinker or smoker) had an op to remove a tumour & then found out I have lung mets & was told I have months to live. Am on sorafenib at the moment. Anyone who had similar ? Looking to have support from new friends xx

  • Hi Abisue, just off out so can't take long to answer. But I'll be around later (I've taken up jive since feeling better :)).

I was told that I would never get an op because the cancer was too widespread. I had malignant fluid in my right lung which they attempted to drain. So I have accessed chemo. Just chemo and hormone treatment (tamoxifen), (which they didn't think would work as well as it has). In my opinion the radical lifestyle changes have made a substantial difference

My cancer is definitely breast cancer but it had spread throughout my body before anyone took any notice ...I was fat you see.... everyone decided it was asthma.... unfortunate really....

    Anyhow, speak soon,

    Mare
