My husband was diagnosed with neuro endocrine pancreatic cancer in 2015 and this had spread to the liver, a lymph node and bone. He has had 6 radionuclide treatments and now has monthly injections. He feels well and is still working as I am. We were hoping to retire in the next few years and make plans for our retirement. I find the uncertainty of the future very hard to cope with and it is difficult when friends ask how you are and you feel you have to be positive- people seem to think we have nothing to worry about as he looks so well. I feel tearful and down much of the time and not sure how I will cope with the years ahead. I feel a little guilty typing this as I know others are probably in worse situations but I would be glad of any tips or advice about how to cope day to day.
