Hi

Hi all

Just joined. Diagnosed with secondary liver mestases from pancreatic primary. Right hepatectomy ...sorry my spelling sucks...in July last year. Just found out I have 3 remaining in liver remnant and 2 pancreatic head. Docs are looking at chemo or PRRT in the next couple of weeks. I have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1. I am just wondering if anyone on the group has the same diagnosis/ history? Wishing you all a peaceful evening. Paula x

  • Hello Paula, so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, and just wanted to say welcome.  I have checked the forum and there doesn't seem to be anyone else in your exact situation, but there are others with liver mets from different primaries who you might like to chat to and I hope they will be along soon. May I suggest that you open a new thread with a heading along the lines of  'liver mets from pancreas' and they may find you more easily.

I hope your treatment goes well and am sending you my best wishes and love.

    Hazel x

  • Hi Paula ..... Just a quick note to say Hi and welcome you to the forum.  I don't know if I can help but I too have liver secondaries but from breast cancer. I have had a liver resection in 2013 but have two tumours still in the liver which were nanoknifed even though they were deemed inoperable due to the fact that a lot of the vascular system was removed and the tumours I have are growing on major veins.

I have had nanoknife twice on the liver to prolong prognosis  - if you Google it and want any further information you can private message me.  I believe that nanoknife is effective for pancreatic disease but the consultant is very easy to talk to and will give you his opinion if you have recent scan results.

Take good care of yourself and come for a chat whenever needed x
