My dad is in the final stages of Mesothelioma. I had no idea until he was diagnosed that this cancer can appear 40 years or more after working with asbestos. He lives 200 miles away from us and we have been making the journey every three or four weeks watching him try to get used to the prognosis and then cope with the awful pain while trying to stay independent. He is 85 years old and if one more person says "its a good age" I will scream. He is my dad and I will miss him so much.
