Hi viv, it is really lovely to hear such positive attitude about your journey. My mum was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in May 2014. I know how much you must have to be dealing with at the moment, but keep your spirits high and a positive mind. It's great you have such a good sense of humour. My name is Gary and i was told i had AML last July. I am much better now within myself but i feel i don't get enough support from my family. I would like to know the thoughts of other people with Leukemia and how you handle it. My children live a distance away from me here in Norwich and i find the travel very tedious. I am at present living with my elderly mother and my youngest sister, which is not ideal for me.

i have just been diagnosed with lung cancer :( . At the moment i dont know how i am feeling numb i think, my friends and family have been great but somtimes it can be hard to be around them ( if you know what i mean ). So having somthing like this is great and reading post like yours helps xx Keep fighting xx

Yes i do smoke or should i say did smoke, but i wouldt say i smoked alot no more than 20 aday. And i am  heathy i dont eat alot of junk and i love to walk.. xx 

I guess just unlucky but non small cell lung cancer doesn't spread as fast as other types so you could just get lucky. Also I responded to your friends request -Diane xx
