Hello there, I'm new to the forum, my name is Viv and I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian cancer back in Nov 2014.
Last year was hard - I must admit. After having a hysterectomy and several bouts of chemo, I am now feeling quite well and will continue on my maintenance drug until the end of August 2016. I'm a fighter and will continue to battle against this awful disease and eradicate it from my body entirely if I can.
So, to all of you out there who find yourselves in a similar predicament ... don't give up, be as strong as you can muster and give your cancer a hard time (you want it out of your body)! And remember ... you're not alone; there are thousands of us and we all have good and bad days, so don't be too hard on yourself.
God bless and take care,
Viv
