  • Hi,

It is like a rollercoaster ride, emotions are everywhere for all the family.  I remember getting fustrated that I could not do things.  It must be difficult for you with three children!!  I took my husband with me to appointments to make sure he realised what was happening.  I think everyone wants to get back to normal, but do not realise this takes time.  I used to get really stroppy with my husband because he did not do things as I do them.  I did not find the radiotherapy too bad, but you do get quite tired.

Hope you feel better soon, I remember this difficult time, and having to adjust.

Take care and keep posting for support.

  • Hi Rachied,

I thought I would bump your post as  I know there will be some lovely people on our forum who will have been in a similar situation, and who will have some good advice for you I am sure.

Do make sure you rest and enjoy the catch up TV! We wish you a speedy recovery from all your ops.

Best wishes and welcome to our forum!
