Hi.....I had surgery on 20/4/15 to remove a cancer from my bowel that was picked up during a routine screening programme. Since then me and my family have been on a rollercoaster of emotions. It goes without saying, and I'm certain most people will agree that the worst thing of all is the waiting. I saw my lovely oncologist today and have had everything explained as to the next step. I am about to embark on five months of chemotherapy. I will have infusion on week one , medication on weeks two and three, and woo-hoo week four off before starting it all again. I am having a contrast MRI tomorrow on my liver and I am praying that this doesn't throw any spanner in the works. My cancer was classed as a Dukes C..t4 with N1 lymph nodes. I would like to hear if anyone can relate to this.
Thanks xxxx
