Follicular lymphoma

Hi I'm Iffer', and I would like to introduce myself. I was diagnosed two and half years ago and had 6 months R-CVP forllowed by 2 years of Retuxemab. I have managged it all quite well.  In the last month I have had another bone marrow biopsy and another CT scan, so I am waiting to find out if I am still in remission.  It's the waiting that gets me I feel nervous and excited all at the same time.  I feel better now than I have since the diagnoses and spring is just round the corner.

  • Hi Iffer,
I am sorry to see the reason you have joined this forum. You sound so positive which is so great.
The waiting is so stressful which I can understand fully.  Keeping busy can help. As you say spring is coming and bulbs and spring flowers will be showing.
    When are your results due?
    Thinking of you,
Sending you a virtual hug from Oz

  • Hi Iffer, I too have follicular lymphoma, grade 1, stage 4. Just finished 6 months Rchop & in remission on Rituximab.

Wiating for results is for me pretty nerve wracking, a bit like taking an exam, I want to get it over and done with but am scared!! I hope you are in good remission. I guess it will then be wait & watch, that can be hard too!!

I hope all is well for you
