I was diagnosed in November with a cancer of unknown primary. Is there anyone else out there like me. It's scary as I don't fit into any cancer group.

  • Hi Sharon,
    Welcome to the forum.
Have the medic guys not found your primary as yet? What on earth is happening?
How are you doing honey?  Sorry for familiarity of terms but that's just me.
Let us know how you are going please.
    Sending you a hug

  • hi Sharon

I was diagnosed with throat cancer last April (god a year has gone by so quickly) to which a secondary appeared in the right gland in my neck, but after many operations for biopsies and a PET/CT scan, no primary was found.

This happens sometimes, so I am told by my consultant

I just put ot down to the fact that my body is so hyper sensitive that at the first sign of the most minute microbial cancer cell, it kicked it out into my lymph nodes, so that i could feel that something was going on and that it would prompt me to go to the doctors. The rest is history

It happens, the point is to get treated for the seconday

Our bodies work in the most amazing and mysterious ways
