  • Very inspirational, thank you for sharing this migman! So what kind of sense of humour do you have?

  • Just over 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I have to tell you I was in complete shock!!! After a mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy I came throught the other side just about in one piece. I promised myself I'd always be positive and laugh in the face of it which I did, I climbed mountains quite literally when having treatment, laughed a lot with family and friends. So what am I doing now? I became a nurse. It's my turn now to give back everything i received and i love my job so be positive even when you don't feel you can, go out when you feel down and gather all the love of your family and friends and laugh.

  • Hi Lucie,

Having served over 23years in the Army,as you might have guessed it can be a bit twisted at times.squadies took the Mick out of the darkest subjects as a way of coping.

    A. very good friend of mine has recently recovered from breast cancer along with restructuring,

We used to speak e every week and laugh about bulk orders for wet wipes,

I have always been positive and live life as well as I can, always try to maintain a sense of humour.and Never Give Up, It is a pity there is no meeting place to chat one on one or in a group.

In the meantime I will keep in touch in the  forum.

Hope all is well with you and the future goes well.

    Take care

    Alan
