It's an awful thing to go through, I know, but keep in mind that you haven't been told that you have cancer. Of the people who are called in, 4 out of 5 don't have it. Even for those who do, early detection is a life saver. I was the number 5 and I had breast cancer, but it was treated very quickly. I had an amazing surgeon and nurses and I could contact them for anything I needed. Try to distract yourself for now and remember that you were called in because they wanted to check again, not because it's a definite diagnosis. Take care of yourself and I wish you good news soon. Thank you it’s because they said biopsy before I’d had any recall tests. I’m just imagining the worse. No lumps or anything so it’s very early.

The biopsy is just part of the normal triple test(mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy), so try not to let it upset you so much.

Most of us don't say anything to our children until we get a diagnosis. What ages are they?

They are 27 and 30 . I am 55. I just have a lovely new Grmadson who is 2 months too.

Received my results yesterday. Benign and back to 3 year screenings.

Thank you so much. It was a relief but a big lesson learned that don’t assume anything from what your hear and see at biopsy. I was convinced because it was a face to face appt it was something to worry about and straight to biopsy but it was all just procedure. Thanks again for the support.
