Lower right lobectomy 13/2/2026 - 5 weeks after surgery I developed severe pain and no-one can tell me why. Has this happened to anyone else?

I had robotic surgery to remove right lower lung for low grade nodule. I was fine no pain for 4 weeks. Week 5 I have developed severe pain in my ribs back and from around bra line  Also middle back. I am taking ibruprophen which is very helpful. However I cannot find from anyone why this has happened. I am now suffering with extreme anxiety. I am now is coming up to 7 weeks post op. Anyone had this experience Thaks

    Hi I had same surgery as you on the 19/2/26 I to have pain under my right breast near my ribs, I wouldn’t say I was in severe pain but slightly uncomfortable in that area I think it’s where they have gone into the ribcage area but I will be asking the dr.  When I go back for my follow up in April , do you have a follow up date, try not to worry you’ve had a major op !
