Anal cancer - waiting to start treatment. Feeling very scared and alone

Hi im sam

I'm 65 years young i have a daughter son in law 2 grandaughters 1 in- law grandson and 2 great grandchildren i have a husband who is useless i have just been diagnosed with anal cancer ive had a sto which is reversible ive not started treatment yet nor have I been shown the results of my scans or from biopsies infact I feel very much alone and so scared

    Welcome to the forum although im sorry you have found yourself here. I finished treatment for anal cancer in nov 24 and i am currently cancer free. Anal cancer is a curable cancer on the most part. I won't lie the treatment isnt a walk in the park but its doable and i found it not as bad as i had expected.
