Hi Anonymous73 and welcome to the Cancer Chat community.
I'm glad you're making good progress with your treatment although I'm sorry about the migraine you experienced when you started taking Letrozole.
I hope things have improved since, but if the migraines have got worse or you're experiencing any other side effects that are becoming troublesome or a bit unmanageable, don't hesitate to let your medical team know so they can make this easier for you.
There are a lot of members within our community who have taken Letrozole so hopefully some of them will be along soon to share their experiences and advice, but if you'd like to discuss any of this further with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to address your questions and concerns.
I hope this helps Anonymous73 and all goes well with your radiotherapy.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
Hi. I had a lumpectomy for breast cancer at the end of September, followed by radiotherapy that finished not long before Christmas. I started taking Letrozole on December 19th and I haven't had problems with it so far. I've been taking it every morning when I take most of my medication, although I know some people prefer to take it at night. I find that keeping busy during the day helps me not to think too much about it. If you're worried, there's no harm in speaking to a cancer nurse for some reassurance.
