New to all this and scared: I have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer

I have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer that has gone to adrenal gland, three ribs and lower vertebrae.  All of this was originally diagnosed as OA and being treated as such. A few weeks ago I went to an urgent treatment Centre because of a searing pain in my side. They took x Ray and that’s how it all went wrong. Have had CAT scan and Bronchosopy and waiting for my meeting with team who will decide my fate. I have researched a lot and I need this to be NSC as opposed to SCC. I want the best chance of life I can get but am so afraid the prognosis won’t be good. This is really hell isn’t it? Would like to me people that are in my position, I need support as I feel like I’m losing my mind! I have no symptoms even the pain in ribs has gone but it did show a 55mm mass . Thanks for listening and I hope to strike up some conversations .
