New here but been a cancer patient for a year.

Just wanted to say Hi I'm Mark i have got stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread to my pelvis, lungs, lower spine and the top of my pelvis area. I had an operation to remove the cancer in December and had to have half of my pelvis removed. I had a hip replacement to what was left of it but unfortunately it has displaced and cannot be fixed. My latest symptoms are headaches and being sick while having anti sickness tables. I will be having a brain CT Scan soon.

    Hi Mark,  I am sorry to  hear about your stage 4 diagnosis.  I have stage 4 breast cancer with mets in pelvis, spine, ribs and skull.  I didn't know that they could operate to remove the cancers, it has never been suggested to me before.  I hope your latest symptoms are not a spread.  Good luck with your CT scan.

    Hi, yes I didn't know either. It took four weeks to find someone willing to do it and had to travel 3 and a half hours away. The doctor told me when he operated it had spread and was very aggressive if I had had the operation I wouldn't if been here now.

    I will find out the results on 27th October so fingers crossed.
