Hi
My husband has been diagnosed with tongue cancer which has spread to his lymph nodes in his neck. He’s starts radiotherapy/ chemotherapy a week on Monday . Was just looking for some positive outcomes from people who had been through this.

Hi Alfmont. My husband has LIVED with terminal cancer for eight years so far! His is lung cancer and he was given six months to live all those years ago. Chemo, radio and immuno therapies kept him going until now, and miracle drugs keep on coming every year or so. Now his own miracle drug has finally stopped working and there is nothing else right now, so his tumours are growing fast and we are having a last shot at radiotherapy. I don't know about tongue cancer at all, but I imagine it would be quickly life changing/disruptive to normal life, possibly painful, and psychologically difficult, but do hold on to that hope for medical advances that may very well be there for him or round the corner. Caring wishes to you.
