Hard lymph node and worried!

Hi I'm new here I have an appointment with the haematologist next week and starting to get quite nervous and worried. My doctor referred me for a hard lymph node just over 2cm big that has been growing for the last 5 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced itching when in the bath? Everytime I get in the bath after about 5 minutes every part of me that's out the water itches so bad I could scream and I end up extremely sore!. I don't know if it's just from the heat (although I didn't have it too hot) so I just wondered if anyone had experienced something similar? I've also had itching and sweats during the day and at night. 

Any help or advice would be great! Thanks in advance

    Hi, I’m sorry to hear you were going through this,  can I ask did you get it checked out and what was the outcome? I’m going through something similar, I’ve been having horrendous night sweats every night for the past couple of months and last week completely out of the blue I felt my  lymph node on the left side of neck is about 3-4 cm big and feels like a stone it’s that hard
