Hard lymph node and worried!

Hi I'm new here I have an appointment with the haematologist next week and starting to get quite nervous and worried. My doctor referred me for a hard lymph node just over 2cm big that has been growing for the last 5 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced itching when in the bath? Everytime I get in the bath after about 5 minutes every part of me that's out the water itches so bad I could scream and I end up extremely sore!. I don't know if it's just from the heat (although I didn't have it too hot) so I just wondered if anyone had experienced something similar? I've also had itching and sweats during the day and at night. 

Any help or advice would be great! Thanks in advance

    I'm sorry to hear that you're currently waiting for an appointment with the haematologist after recently finding a hard lymph node. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious. 

    It may be worth, ahead of your appointment, writing down any symptoms or concerns you have such as itching. Sometimes it can be easy to forget to mention things when we're in front of the specialist so writing a list can help.
