I was rushed into hospital in November with Sepsis. Turned out I had a mass on the right lung and several lymph nodes in the chest.
Currently undergoing chemo and then an operation to remove mass, it is 9cm x 9cm x9cm. Phew

Hi. How are you coping with the chemo? Still building your strength for your operation?
How are you coping?
How long before the operation x
Hello, 2nd session next Tuesday. I'm trying to look after myself but everyday something different, like a rollercoaster. How are you?
Hello, I'm mentally strong but chemo is like a rollercoaster. 2nd session on Tuesday. 3 sessions and then CAT scan. Then surgery, hopefully will shrink enough to do keyhole. What about you?
Its not me. My husband as a 5cms lumg mass lower right lung & enlarged lymph.
No symptoms
No idea whats going on as no pet scan results back or biopsies done.
Went for what we thought was results from pet scan on 12th Feb to be told results not back, but its lung cancer. Cant remember the rest, just a doctor in room.
My husband came straight home & packed a bag & went away,, as he cant face it. And TBH I'm not coping to well.
I've managed to speak to a lung cancer specialist nurse & Feb 18th someones ringing with results, my husband wont be here, as hes booked im for yet another scan this time on the head.
So at this point in time I literally have no idea whats going on or whats going to happen.
Hi. I have just finished my chemo and know that every day is different and indeed a roller coaster. Happy to chat if it will help you.
Minnie63....I hope you amd your husband can work through this together. Happy to chat too, if you need someone to listen to you.
Thank u x
Hi Minnie63 I am so sorry to hear about your husband. One thing is that you cant escape this horrible disease, it goes with you. How did you get on 18th I really hope things work out for you both. I cant imagine what you must be going through. Take care.

Hi.
Not coping to well, my sisters husband is end of life ( not cancer) so I'm trying to cope with that & help my sister as well, which TBH I'm not much help to her at the minute.
I took the call on the 18th Feb re my husbands pet scan results, as he cannot deal with any of it.
Doc said theres a 5cm mass & one inflamed lymph node which is looking suspicious for cancer & a biopsy being done this Weds 26th something called EBUS. Doctor said to tell my husband its treatable otherwise they wouldnt be going through this process.
But I dont know if she said that to keep us both calm or being honest. My mind days how can she know this without a biopsy.
I'm really struggling with everything & just called the Macmillan help line for a chat as I just feel my legs will give way when its time for results. I cant even face going to hospital with him for the biopsy.
Its like a daily living hell...
