Just got diagnosed on Wednesday
I still do occasionally, but it improved gradually. Now, it happens like once every few months if I haven't done the exercises for a while, I guess. I now do them once every two or three days, whereas in the beginning I did them about 3 times a day.
I mentioned it to the physio a year or so after my operation. They rang and asked if I was having any problems before they discharged me, so I mentioned it and they said so long as it wasn't getting worse, it was nothing to worry about, that it was normal and that if it started disimproving, I should contact the hospital who would give me a physio appointment but as long as it was improving/staying the same, that was all good.
It is getting better gradually just annoying when getting hair washed in hairdressers difficult swallowing when head tillting backwards.
That's good
Thank you for that
Once u were diagnosed do u go form more test to look for it somewhere else
Sorry I really don't understand this all
I had a CAT scan just after I was diagnosed, but it is pretty uncommon for thyroid cancer to spread outside the neck.
I think I stopped exercises to soon as neck felt ok. I think I will try doing everyday and hopefully it will get better shoulders and arms ache sometimes too but I think my job don't help. I did read it can take a year to recover fully. Did you get a blood test after coming of calcium D3 tablets.. consultant sending letter to doctor so I guess it will be a plan. Sorry for going on. I forgot to ask when he phoned mind goes blank when they phone.
You're fine. Ask anything.
Yeah, I had blood tests to check my calcium levels, though probably not as quickly as I should have because covid hit in about two months after my operation.
