Mucosal melanoma early diagnosis

Hi all, I am having a biopsy for suspected vaginal mucosal melanoma on friday (Jan 17th). It started as an intermittent itch in November becoming a patch of itchy red dots by Christmas. I saw my GP on Dec 31st and she referred me to the hospital where I was seen on friday Jan 10th. It is now fast turning into black patches. All praise to my gp and to the hospital who are acting so quickly.

It is scary but I am a believer and am praying it does not spread to my lymphs before they can remove it.

    I hope everything goes ok but as Moderator Ben mentioned in his reply to you on your other post, if you have any questions or concerns you can give our cancer nurses a call. They're very easy to talk to and will do all that they can to help.
