Hi Nosey, and a warm welcome to the forum, but so sorry to hear your diagnosis and you find yourself here, and for the awful time you are both experiencing, which those of us with a similar prognosis will fully understand, I'm sorry I don't know your full diagnosis, but just because you may not be curable, doesn't mean your not treatable and for a long time, I got my diagnosis nearly 3 years ago, and still doing ok, and we learned to move on from that dreadful news, like almost everyone does, and make the most of what time we do have. I can imagine that seems very difficult at this time to you both, but we are stronger than we think and this awful disease often brings us much closer to our partners, which makes us stronger still, so well done in joining the forum, and if you could give a few details about your husbands diagnosis, "I have advanced prostate cancer", others with a similar diagnosis to yours, will be able to reply sooner. best wishes to you both.
