While I was waiting and wondering,I posted on here and just to know that others were replying and they were reading and understanding did help me. Keep writing to us.

So still anxious and overwhelmed with it all. But today had a phone conversation with the hospital and they have made an appointment for next Friday. So that news has helped a little

At least you have a date for the appointment, that is a positive.

That’s how I feel Mary. Will get a full picture of treatment etc. that hopefully will be talked about

Very good, thank you. This time last year I was in hospital recovering from major surgery. A recent CT scan has showed no recurrence.

just to let you know that meeting with lung surgeon was quite positive. It is a very small lump on the top of my right lung. I am having a biopsies on 14 Jan and depending on outcome he is hoping that he can remove it with possible chemotherapy after if needed.

we are determined to keep positive but it is so hard. I have not told our families as I want to wait till after Christmas.

will have to tell them then as we always go abroad and obviously we can’t .

Think I’m dreading that the most. Keep well and wishing you a lovely happy healthy Christmas and New Year xxx

I will  ️will be a long day as my scan is at Edinburgh on News Years Eve think we will be leaving early to miss traffic 

How is life now?

Long day Mary but everything went ok.. Now waiting for biopsy been done on 14th January. Have told families now as we should have been going abroad on 4th Jan. Was so hard it broke me and all of them. But as I said we have to be positive since it has been caught early.

I did yes, thank you. Christmas 2023 I was in hospital recovering from major surgery. Christmas 2024 I was at home with my better half; I could ask for nothing better :-)

Still staying positive but hubby is struggling with it all. Think it is the waiting in between procedures that is getting him down.but we are coming up with ways to keep his mind off the way things are. Did you find the same problem eyour partner? I try not to overthink things or look to far forward just till the next procedure. It’s lovely to talk to you though about what’s happening Thank you so much for keeping in touch xxxx

The waiting for results was stressful! However, my only symptom was what I called a slight swelling, so I had thought there couldn't be much wrong with me and just wanted them to get a move on and find out why it was there and do something about it!
